Why "The Evolution of stained glass" ?
No one can deny that stained glass is beautiful and that it requires a high level of skill to produce. Many of us would love to have these stunning effects in our own home or establishment but the cost of producing stained glass puts the this beyond our reach. DécorVerre uses materials and techniques that have been developed and improved over the past 25 years, to create glass art that gives those same stunning effects at a more affordable price.
So what are the main advantages apart from the cost ?
Strength - Because the design is created on a single piece of glass it is stronger and does not require additional strengthening rods to stop it wobbling in doors
Weight - It can be used in normal everyday situations without the need to be triple glazed
Security - Lead cannot be levered up to remove sections of glass and allow easy access to a burglar
Safety - Our decorative materials can be applied to most modern safety glasses
Variety and flexibility - Working in other new mediums such as glass bevels, we are able to offer a classic cut glass appearance that will transform even the darkest corners
Will it last ?
Yes. All of the materials used by DécorVerre have undergone rigorous testing and have surpassed all relevant international standards. They are used in 42 countries around the world, being exposed to the heat of the Australian outback, the ice of a Russian winter and the rain of a British summer!!! This experience allows our material suppliers to give a guarantee of 10 years on their product with an estimated life expectancy of over 25 years.

How is it fitted ?
Ask you carpenter/joiner or the company supplying your new windows and doors to contact us here at DécorVerre. We will work with them and you to ensure your project has the 'wow' factor
Existing glass can be replaced with the decorative glass of your choice. We can supply the decorated glass to you to carry out the exchange yourself or in some circumstances, we are able to carry out the work ourselves
We can supply an additional pane of glass which is framed enabling it to be fitted as secondary glazing
